Mantis – a giant walking hexapod robot

A British engineer has unveiled a giant "mantis" robot, large enough to carry a human pilot, which is supported by multiple hydraulic legs. This all-terrain machine, which took four years to research and build, has reportedly attracted the interest of mining and marine research companies.
