    "Well little Jimmy, cancer used to be a killer disease. If you lived through it, it was a badge of honor to call yourself a 'cancer survivor,' and everyone would think you were tough for that. This will sound weird, but we used to have a lot of charity marathons to raise money for cancer research."

    Lab-grown meat still has some issues in regards to veganism due to using some animal product in the growth stock and obviously the harvesting of starter cells. Don't get me wrong, any lab-grown meat is leagues better than mass slaughter. But let's say we wanted to be completely ethical without tech we won't have for a long time.
