    Eacao, I already know what you stated, particularly about the bit about the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act. Yet, Presidents since 1995 chose not to enforce it because they knew of the potential consequences of doing so. Trump recklessly chose to do this. Look at the intentional backlash against Trump from most foreign nations on this move. It is not looking too good for him, reputation-wise.

    Who knows if what Trump is doing is right in hindsight, but it was done in a very reckless manner, jeopardizing the safety of Americans at large and people in general. He's merely inciting people to do violence when he could have helped to prevent it in the first place.

    Trump wants to move the embassy to Jerusalem because it is the "right thing to do" and because it will "bring peace between Israelis and Palestinians". At the moment, I'm not seeing how he's achieving those aims. The opposite is happening, in fact.
