I'm thinking these will be two more disorders getting treatments in the 2020s.

I think we're going to see amazing and incredible advances in gene based therapies and treatments over the next few decades, in fact I can hardly contain my excitement. We are privileged to live in such times, knowing that many of us will not have to suffer some of the terrible afflictions affecting millions around the world right now as we approach our old age.

This study is of particular interest though, I have a family member who suffers from schizophrenia and it's increasingly difficult to see a way out of it, it's frustrating not just for him but the rest of the family too and it's certainly something I'd love to see become repairable.
