This is one of the first proposals from the private space industry not aimed at tourism. The spacecraft, called the Lynx, is expected to be unveiled next year, with suborbital flights occuring in 2014.

2014? Given the delays experienced by Virgin Galactic and the developers of their suborbital 'spaceship', I'll believe it when I see it.
