S Korea holds military drills despite North's threats

South Korea has held live fire military drills from islands near disputed sea borders with the North despite threats of attack.

The drills, which North Korea has called "premeditated military provocation", lasted two hours.

There was no reported action from Pyongyang, which warned on Sunday that it will retaliate for any attacks.

The drills took place in an area where four South Koreans were killed in 2010 in a North Korean artillery attack.

Russians developed new tank, well upgraded existing T-90 (T-72B) to what I could only describe as an leap forward in Russian Armor Design. New design T90MS Tagil resembles T-90S upfront but side and back of the tank appear to be more western in design concept. Russians claim that ammunition storage has been placed in separate compartment away from the crew. Traditionally Russia tank designs tended to have ammunition stored inside crew compartment, major weakness in all Russian tank designs. I am thoroughly impressed with new design.
