Starship Defender
Really? Could the writers try to be a little more creative!

I just hope it's not another dark sci-fi drama. Episodic Sci-Fi needs a new Next Generation, or at least a new SG-1, not a new Galactica or SG-U.
I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one

Also Paramount is hesitant to try any new Star Trek stuff after Enterprise and while JJ Abrams is trying to make his mark in the ST universe.
However, I really liked Enterprise. They could have had another two seasons, I believe. It was doing just fine in the ratings...But I guess the fanbase wasn't there. It might be my second favorite series after Voyager. Yea, I like to be different.

Well, on the one hand, the writer worked previously on DS9. That's a good sign. On the other hand, he also worked on Andromeda, and it's on the SyFy Channel (I hate that name so much it hurts me to type it). Also, "Unity Democracy"? "Starship Defender"? Unless this is the finally televised version of Galaxy Quest and it's a comedy, it's going to have to be brilliant right out of the gate.

indeed y sentiments as well, I do wonder how the naming convention works.
And just to add, Andromeda worst Sc-fi show on tv since lexx and that puppet thing (ended with peacekeepers war), can't believe ppl watched that shit.
I'd probably go for it. It's got to be better than Terra Nova right?
That show is such disappointment, its like watching a kids show, so ridiculous, even dynotopia had more realism and action.
They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
