Bearing in mind the 35mm film standard (used in movie production since the 1920s) has the equivalent revolution of 4320p, do you think we need to go further than Blu-ray/1080p for home movies?

I can't wait for HVD if it does exist in the future.
I want to go ahead of Father Time with a scythe of my own.

I love Blu-ray, for 40" TVs they're close to perfect, especially when playing Toy Story 3 (stores should use that film to demo TVs). I wonder if the Ultra HD TVs in the future will upscale Blu-rays in the same way HDTV upscaled DVD? The fact that Blu-ray isn't the same quality resolution as original films does bug me though.
