I remember watching this back in 2005. It's what really got me interested in space and science I think. I finally found it on Youtube!

Doesn't anyone find it interesting that both of the probes (Leo and Ike) look a lot like General Grievous? George Lucas is in this film as a guest speaker - so I wonder if he had anything to do with that? :scratchhead:

Episode of "The Universe", playing similar, speculative role. It features possible life forms on europa-like moon, on tidally locked planet, on barren heavy world and smaller than earth cold planet dominated by tundra-like climate. And there's... silly fragment about silicon life.

Saw them too recently, and yeah they're worth checking out too.
Aurelia - features tidally locked planet, great visuals but somehow limited fauna/flora
Blue Moon - much better, low gravity world with super-dense air, allowing sky-whales, immensly high forrest, social bird-like species, and some more cool stuff.

PS. maybe we should rename thead to something like "speculative alien-life documentaries"?
