Well, but every one of those AI have to have some sort of central network, right? In other words, they might be intelligent, but they have to have a source for all the data that they come to understand, or their intelligence would be basically useless.

Well, but every one of those AI have to have some sort of central network, right? In other words, they might be intelligent, but they have to have a source for all the data that they come to understand, or their intelligence would be basically useless.

They would gather data about the world through sensors, much like you and I do. Only they would be capable of processing information from many more sensors of many more different types.
