You know, I can believe Putin has $200 billion. What blows my fucking mind is that it's no longer so stupefying far ahead of everyone else anymore. Jeff Bezos made another billion dollars in the four days since my original post. It's $131.3 billion now.

At least Bezos made his money by supplying millions (billions?) of people with last minute Christmas presents, like some kind of hyper-capitalist techno Santa, which puts him well above Putin  who mostly just stole stuff from the people of Russia. 


Not that Putin is some sort of monster for stealing this stuff, if he hadn't stolen it, someone else would have, or more likely it would be split among several hundred people and there would be more pointless russiaan billionaires wandering around the nicer bits of europe
