Soft robotics is in its infancy but if we keep plugging away, what might scientists be able to do with soft robotics? What will the final end product?

Robots that move and look indistinguishable from real "living" organisms made of organic matter. They could be very useful to be used as pets or create artifitial robotic "monsters" and creatures that only exist in fantasy or don't exist or was never found in real life.

Robots that are much faster, flexible and more resilient and tougher than real life animals. That would be amazing.Imagine robots that are more impressive and surreal than those mechanical monsters that exist in Final Fantasy XIII-2.

I believe that future robots will be made of rigid and soft parts, so an android could be as "soft" as a real human being but with a surreal strength and resilience.

Might as well just fucking say it: absurd sex toys.

And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future.

Well... humans and moths aren't all that much different. Moths have a positive phototaxis towards light sources whereas humans have a similar tendency except that their genitals are the organs that need stimulating so they flutter around and occasionally (for some, often) tap anything sex-related. Someone creates the world's strangest sex toy, they flock to it.... yep, like moths.

Soft robotics is just going to make us fly around it a lot more maddeningly and tap it more fiercely.

What are you without the sum of your parts?

As far as sex toys for women, soft robotics could be a bit disappointing. There will definitely be times when hard robotics will be needed.
