The Raspberry Pi computer goes on general sale

A credit-card sized computer designed to help teach children to code goes on general sale for the first time today.

Initially the £22 ($35) model of the Pi will be offered for sale. A cheaper £16 ($25) version will go on sale later in the year.

Wow, that's cheap!

All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer.

This is very interesting, and could be extremely beneficial. I could imagine a school with classrooms filled with monitors and keyboards and each kid has his individual computer chip. Also let's face it kinds should all learn computer coding from a young age just like math and language. If this gets the exposure it should this could do a lot to change education.
