It's odd how revolutionary this will be and how very near we are to it, yet it receives almost no attention. This type of R&D deserves major funding.

Can't find anything on how complex/expensive this stuff will be to produce. Could we see every Tesco Express store having its own lab behind the meat section growing this kind of thing?

I am all for this. I eat meat because it tastes good. As long as they can make it look, feel and taste like the real thing I don't care where it comes from. Of course it should be safe for eating too! ;-)

Potentially. Not in 2036 mind you, but probably further down the road as the technology proliferates.

This as long as it can taste good and be rather good for you health wise and the environment as well as affordable price then I am all for it
