A letter written by King Henry VIII and a document announcing the birth of his only male heir have gone on display in Greater Manchester.

Another part of history which people can now see in Manchester.

In a lot of ways looking into the past is like looking into the future. Henry was a king in the past, but assuming William dies before having any children Harry will become king in the future, and the common consensus is that he will change his name/be referred to as Henry instead when that happens. Also, Henry of the past wrote letters on paper, and whilst Henry of the future may prefer emails or instant brain transmissions, isn't this simply the paper of the future? Henry in the past had a son, but if we assume the future is a mirror image of the past, then son would change to father and none of us can argue that Harry had a father, although who that father was could potentially be debated if so desired.

Is Manchester the future version of London? If we imagine time as distance we could think of the present being the Midlands, London the past, and Manchester the future. This would then make Scotland the distant future, this is ironic because Scotland has no future if it goes independent.

Ah, but when civilisation falls into ruin Scotland will already have been there for some time and will therefore triumph as overlords of the New Scottish Empire. I say new, there was an Old Scottish Empire, which consisted of some heathland just south of Hadrian's wall, this will be much larger, they may even make it as far south as Birmingham.
All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer.
