Due to the invasion of the UAR in Israel in Early 1963, I have decided to withdraw from Syria and place thhose troops who were in Syria in the Negev Desert which the UAR own at the moment. (If in wrong place, just ignore this post)
I want to go ahead of Father Time with a scythe of my own.

A plea from the national unity government of Burma:
We, the peoples and nations of Burma, hereby plead to the world on our bare knees with tears in our eyes to react with horror and dismay against the savage and continuous Indonesian imperialistic assault on the Burmese people and their traditions. Human rights abuses, killings of civilians, destruction of infrastructure and sanitary institutions are all marks of this illegal war of exploitation against a peace-loving and independent nation.
The peoples of the world don't want to carry Burma's cross as their conscience.
Believe me, they don't.

*The US UN attachment looks confused*. "Wait what are you threatenning the international community? Also the Human rights abuses of the Indonesian army are questionable, there have been reports of Burmese Communists donning the uniforms of Indonesians, and Burmese Non-combatants being dressed up as combatants which is a Human Rights abuse in itself!"
On another note the US has been informed that due to unrest in the world, and the amount of the Demilitarised Zones that the UN has to maintain, the UN requires more funding. The President of the United States plans to donate some money to the UN and increase the amount of donations to the UN from the Federal Government, also to provide the UN with US soldiers as peacekeepers under UN control. We are friends to all nations of the World, and we hope our example will encourage other nations to same and help to make the World a more stable and peaceful place.

The Federal Republic of Germany supports the vision of the United States in having a more pro-active United Nations when it comes to peace keeping. We need to make sure of course that those soldiers doing the peace-keeping are themselves representative of the greater UN vision.
If a satisfactory organisation-wide agreement can be reached, then we will increase our UN funding accordingly.

Now look, this is really beyond a joke. Who the hell let this Burmese clown in and where is the real ambassador? These United Nations do not recognise Ne Win's illegal junta and whichever pea-brained doorman let this imposter in really ought to be sacked, as I'm sure the Burmese ambassador would agree.

Indonesia is also puzzled as to why a Rainbow Front terrorist has speaking rights in this chamber.

[The Persian ambassador stands up, pointing at the Rainbow Ambassador and looking over at the security guards]
SECURITY! SECURITY! Eject this man from the chamber, he is not the Burmese ambassador!
[If the real Burmese Ambassador is not present] Find the real Burmese ambassador and bring him here at once! That terrorist is to be arrested!
Secretary General, I demand an immediate inquiry into our security standards to see how such a terrorist can be let into this building, and into this room. The general assembly is meant to be a sacrosanct, safe place for the ambassadors of sovereign states to discuss matters of great importance.
I feel violated that such a terrorist managed to get in here, the danger posed to the ambassadors is intolerable! What if he had been carrying a gun or a bomb? This is simply unacceptable and I demand that the building's security guards and New York Police Department do their job and not let such terrorists into this building! If this happens again, then I will bring my own personal security guards with me to ensure my safety, and I will encourage other ambassadors to do the same.
Mr. Secretary General, this is simply unacceptable and I demand an apology from the head of security in this building!

The United Arab Republic pledges to do what it can to assist the United Nations, particularly in light of the peace-keeping work taking place in Al-Quds and along the 1947 Line. However, the UAR also pushes for a mechanism to allow semi-recognised states to speak in this chamber albeit without voting rights. This would be of huge importance for the recognition of the PRC, North Vietnam and the revolutionary forces in Burma, and be of use in the pursuit of world peace.

Why, precisely, do we want 'recognition' for terrorists in this chamber of nations?

For the purposes of discussing international affairs and brokering peace, it may be useful to allow insurgent forces to voice their perspective without necessarily according them any of the other rights which come with membership of the United Nations. It would not be inappropriate to allow the Rainbow Popular Front the ability to be called as a witness.

We completely agree with the Persian ambassador in that this is a serious breach of security. The United Nations is certainly not a podium that should be used for terrorists and non-representatives of official government.

The Republic of South Africa has decided to go in line with the US good example and donate extra funds for the UN this turn. Hopefully more of the future conflicts can be solved by edge of the pen, rather than by the edge of the sword. In addition wish to raise the topic that UN is more than a securing international peace, but also by taking the moral responsibility of the developed world. We therefor pledge the UN to increase development aid to Africa with 50 credits/turn.

The UK will also raise UN aid to match that of the US and we think it is only fair that all security council members shall do the same, as do we back the South African suggestion for African aid.
We also see it fit to call an instant withdrawal of Indian and Indonesian troops from Burma, replacing them with UN troops following recent escalation of violence.
SECURITY COUNCIL VOTE:
Suggestion: 5 UN units to Burma to keep peace and enforce referendum, Indonesia and any foreign armies withdraws their troops

Mexico condemns the US blockade on Cuba and demands it be stopped instantly.
We also want UN troops in belize to prevent military or communist coup.

We think that the actions of the Spanish Dictator Franco are abhorrent, we propose immediate international economic sanctions against the State of Spain.

OOC: That's IC talk. As it stands, the UN does not recognise you in any capacity, the recognised government of Burma is the one that has been put back by Indonesia. If you want to make IC condemnations of people, post it in the IC thread, this thread is reserved for UN members, hence Germany and China not posting in here.

Mexico requests development aid and 1 UN unit to be used for peacekeeping
Due to tensions in Mexico, staggering poverty rates and small growth rates Mexico requests 1 UN unit to be placed in Mexico and development aid of 40 credits every six months.
This help is needed to secure Mexican stability and stop the terrorism and drug smuggling.
