Capital Relocations

You all know how in history, nations everywhere have relocated their Capital cities now and then? For example Russia moved its capital to St. Petersburg after in 1712, India relocating its capital from Callcutta to Delhi in 1911 and Brazil relocating from Rio de Janeiro to Brasilia in 1960. Iran is even considering relocating its own capital due to Tehran being on several fault lines, making it at risk of a severe Earthquake.
So, in the future, what states could relocate their capitals for what reasons and which cities do you think they'll be (based on fair enough air conditions, water quality and population size)?
For example, Thailand has plans that it may relocate its capital from Bangkok as a result of flooding. I think a good capital would be Chiang Mai or Sathorn. Indonesia once talked of moving its capital from Jakarta to Palangkarya, Borneo, due to the current capital's overcrowding and pollution.
Please, feel free to share your theories.

It may happen in this century that we will see some relocation of some capitals but this is mostly going to happen in countries who are emerging economically speaking.

England and London maybe to do with floods in the future.
Okay, but where too? I think either Brimingham, Sheffield or Nottingham.
Japan cold relocate to Kofu or Maebashi, also because of flooding, because both are very inland cities compared to Tokyo. It could also go back to Kyoto.
Khairpur could make a good new capital of Pakistan, yet again because Karachi is too close to the coast.

Yeah, I've never even heard of Brasilia until this thread.
I've always heard of Brasilia it's in the centre of Brazil, known about it for 10 years.

Well, I'm sorry if I don't know every city in the world like the back of my hand... Anyhow, I think it only shows that as a Capital, there isn't enough attention drawn to it. I too would have thought Sao Paulo would have been a better capital.

I agree with you,the most Important city of a coutry should be its capital,in most countries is like this, but in others no and this sounds nnsense for me.Here in Brazil, for exemple, the most populous, the richier and the most famous and important city is Sao Paulo, but the capital is Brasilia...This is pathetic,Sao Paulo should be the capital...
I would of always thought Rio de Janeiro, but I guess Sao Paulo would make more sense.

On a related topic if I made my own country which I hope to do at some point, I would call the capital 'Centreplex' and it would have it's own legal system independent of the rest of the country. This means you could have different laws for the poor people working the land than the rich people in their penthouses in centreplex and everyone would be happier.
