From the video game 'Brink'

When I first saw it, I was very intrigued. Could something similar be possible?

W-What?A giant skyscraper?Well,of course it will be possible, just see we already have Burj Khalifa, which is 828 metres high.A 1007 metres tall building is under construction in Jeddah...

When I saw the title,I thought you were talking about a giant space station,in which appaers in the game "Shadow the hedgehog".

By the way, this draw look like Dubai in the future...

What are you talking about?A giant tall or town isolated in the ocean like a distant island?

yes, it can be built. Not at the moment since the cost would be enormous, but it is defiantly allowed by physics which is all that matters. Something like this may well be built this century, look at the palm islands and the kilometer super-talls sprouting up.

I thought you were talking about an ark that holds all human knowledge and DNA samples of all species.

That would be the ultimate life boat. We need a few of those in space if we want to live forever.

And I also thought he was talking about the biblical Noeal boat,in which in real life the world would collapse and put the rest of the population to live in a gigantic and compact seaship. How crazy!

This topic got me thinking about the Global Seed Vault. If organizations are able to do this, why can't they try to preserve endangered species and subject them to suspended animation?
