This is fascinating, what I'm seeing is that facts about our transhuman future drawing near are getting through to the mass media and we can see it coming really soon. What bothers me and others is only that at first only the rich will have access to those enchancements so the gap will get bigger but at least in my view it's the only way so we must(and we will) go there. Like every(well, not every..) technology gets cheaper as time goes by.

Gattaca anyone? :)

Never heard of that before, I am watching it now

EDIT: Yes, I really want a chip in my brain. What about nanotechnology? Do you think it will stay out of the mainstream until nanotechnology can do this without knifes? In that case it will be many decades, think 2040s and 2050s when its affordable to be mainstream (my guess may or may not be based on any sources)

Good. NASA scientists deemed Gattaca as most scientifically plausible SF movie :)

That's an awesome list. I just finished the movie, and it was boring. It was good enough that I finished it, but still not one of the best.

I don't agree with some of NASA's movies. Alien invasions? Do they know something we don't? The only alien invasion we would have is if one rouge alien thought it would be evil to kill us.

That is probably why those scientists consider it to be the most plausible, science-wise. :prankster:
