Ray Bradbury, the science fiction-fantasy master who transformed his childhood dreams and Cold War fears into telepathic Martians, lovesick sea monsters, and, in uncanny detail, the high-tech, book-burning future of Fahrenheit 451, has died. He was 91.

That was a great book - it taught me a few things that solidified into some of the principles I hold dear today.
What are you without the sum of your parts?

The man died in his ninties, world famous and during the transit of venus (which won't happen for another 230 some years, and even more spectacular it was a transit of venus the night after a lunar eclipse.
