Wow, Good Luck to them and just 10m off the Burj Khalifa.
I want to go ahead of Father Time with a scythe of my own.

Hrm by comparison of the scaled model Khalifa might still be the bigger Skyscraped but Sky City be the bigger structure, since the Antenna on top is no longer counted as part of a sky scraper since he has nothing to do with the building and housing people.

hm, 3 months bit short, if they said 3 years sure, unless they meant 3 months for start of construction works,

PS, just did bit of a research on the company, not bad, they've built an 30 story hotel in 360 hours, not bad at all, albeit small footprint, only 17000 sqm (overall) or 566 sqm per floor, Building an 840m tower would require a footprint of 10 000sqm at the base alone and over 500 000 sqm overall. Not sure that can be achieved on less than a year, no matter how well you plan it. BTW love their pre-fabricated system, looks very efficient and relatively cheap compared to traditional method.

It's dangerous to be right, when your government is wrong.
They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

You might be surprised.

But for now, let's wait and see if they can actually do it. I say, they probaby can do it but finish past the deadline by a few days or a week or two at the latest.

That's exactly why we should treat this seriously. Still it seems impossible to me. But even if they do it in 6-12 months it's going to be totally insane for today's standards.

Aren't they aiming a little big? They could have said "We will build a structure 1/2th the Burj Khalifa in 100 days" and it would be a bit more believable, but I hope they surprise us.
NO!

I think they can do that in maybe 6 months, but 3 months would really surprise me. I mean this company builds the first time something that tall, they will face problems they don't think of now.
