I've been searching for research centers or a group of well-funded scientists that deals with developing height increase for full adults and so far all I've been seeing are bogus products with questionable scientific credibility to back it up. So, anybody in here knows if there are technology and research going on regarding height increase? I don't understand why I can't seem to find any credible article regarding this (especially catering for full-gown adults). I've always thought this is a lucrative industry, expecially now that China and the asian region is booming. I was expecting Japan to be in this kind of research or technology but its frustrating that I can't seem to find any article that has real science with the claims.

We already spoke of a smilar topic in the past. There is no biological therapy or hormone therapy working on a adults at the present time.
Still the medical community regard at Dwarfism or short height as not as a medical problem but only as an aesthetic one. However disavantages are many for short height people. They cant carry on certain duties, accesso to certain jobs etc. To dont talk about social-relations problems.
What one can do right now it is a surgery. I know some hospitals in Italy or France that are the best in the world to increase height of up 6-8 cm.
However, it is not that easy. first one should go to a psychological itinerary so that the patients show that are deterimend about this surgery. The psychological therapy is really important because, people think they will just going to increase their height but it is not simple. Rehabilitation lasts for more than a year and it is extremely painful.
That said if the patients accepts the downsides of this surgery, the Tibia is cut, a piece of titanium is inserted at the edge of the bones and fixed with a screws. Some of these screws are even removed later on if they bother the patients.
It is a very invasive surgery but it works on an aestethic level. It also take times to heal from pain. So physicial therapy and pain drugs are needed for more than 8 months.
I had a friend of mine, who she had to reapeate this surgery for 4 times in life. She was born with a leg shorter than the other. Now she is 20 and the problem is finally fixed for good.

I also wish to add that in the future I am sure that we will engineer some stem cells of growth factors to enhace height. In theory it can be possible but it takes lots of reserch.
Furthermore no one would forbid us to print longer limbs in the future.
