By 2030, either this site will have had evolved into something very different OR a new futurist site appeared somewhere else we all migrated to.
A virtual reality environment!!!

I think I get his drift. He is an admin, so his job is to cut down pointless things and ad's. This conversation contributing almost nothing to the advancement of technology, will lead to more pointlessness. So he will kill himself if this continues. Am I right WJFOX?
I think this answer reflects your Low IQ.

Ha ha, oh my! This thread is hilarious already!
I plan on kinda floating around this site for the foreseeable future. 2030 is a ways off, but maybe. As long as everyone keeps posting interesting links I'll keep coming for the news, like I do now.

This website may give inspiration to live longer, to show how trends at current acceleration rates will be moving us. (predicting future is like predicting space flight with lots of unexpected gravity perturbations).
It may give inspiration to lots of mod makers, who are making future-themed game mods.
Any technology sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic.

Although I am pretty sure that he doesn't post here (mainly because he has his own site) I wouldn't be surprised if he has read the website. Anyone looking for future technology on Google is likely to find this website.
Hopefully more people get interested in the future of technology rather than being surprised about the future when the next iPhone comes out.

Yeah it seems like this website is future proof. Go figure. I've always wondered if someone like Ray Kurzweil posts here, but he just uses another user name.

depends with the peeps behind this site.they can modify this site, integrate it into the economy or do other wierd staff.
well of course modification will occur...i think we may have virtual rooms by then..and us users may be in a luxury room where we talk and interact with each-other talking about the future..
we may look at this forum with nostalgy.

"All scientific advancement due to intellegence overcoming, compensating, for limitations. Can't carry a load, so invent wheel. Can't catch food, so invent spear. Limitations. No limitations, no advancement. No advancement, culture stagnates. Works other way too. Advancement before culture is ready. Disastrous."
There's definitely truth in that...
