I've redesigned the entire site. It's taken several weeks of coding (and many late nights), but it's pretty much finished now. Just uploading the last few pages.

Let me know if there's any problems, e.g. broken links, missing images, or browser issues.

I'll be doing a mobile version at some point as well.

Cheers. :)

Oooo shiny. I love it! Great stuff! :good:

Excellent job, it looks a lot more organized and with more professional graphics! I also like how I can tell who's who from the forum screencap. Italian UFO, Cody, Time Traveller, Will, and Zeitgeist, hello there!

I really dig the "latest prediction" window, that is very useful. However I'm not so fond of all the ads... but hey, whatever keeps the money to this site flowing.

...

What the what? Who are those 89 people who said the world would end today in the poll? They could use a proper smack.

I make an animated series about time travel and the future of humanity called ExoTemporal Excursion. You'll like it if you're into that sort of thing. I draw too I guess.

Also check out my futuristic robot resource pack for Minecraft, and Thrive, an under-development evolution simulator.

Indeed. I'm loving the new look. The new background art works particularly well.

Love the new site layout, very fancy indeed :)

While we're on the subject of 3.0, do you have any ideas for 4.0?

How about a revamping of the "browse by subject" section?  Instead of organizing each subject alphabetically, it could have hierarchically nested articles that have a timeline-based structure similar to the main timeline portion of the site.

For example, you click on "browse by subject," bringing you to the list of subjects that includes AI & Robotics, Business & Politics, Energy & the Environment, etc.  Then you click on "Energy & the Environment," bringing you to a timeline similar to the main one, but featuring only the articles on energy & the environment.  This level could be further compartmentalized, so that if you click on "Arctic Sea Ice" you'll get a timeline (again, structured just as the main timeline is) that only includes the articles on arctic sea ice cover.

It would be great to somehow wire all the relevant articles in the main timeline so that they'd appear in the pertinent subject timeline when you "browse by subject."  I think this would make the site more cohesive, and the predictions and vision more coherent.  Thoughts?

***<<DISCLAIMER>>***  I'm next to computer-illiterate; please feel free to tell me if this idea makes absolutely no sense for whatever reason, I won't take offense :)

HAHA! Excellent work with the new marquee up top. That nearly gray-scale 5-color marquee needed a bit of pep.

I know it is a bit late, but thanks for all the work you put in wjfox.
