I'm a space engineer that attends embry-riddle aeronautical university, so futurism is my future job and current passion. 

 

I've been reading futuretimeline for a while and know people in industries putting some of your ideas into practice. 

Ready and willing to join the singularity conversation. 

 

Also I'm black and wondering does that sit well with futuretimeline's community?( Im on 4chan and it scares me how many people are racist).


I plan on living to the omega point

Hello. I don't think any of the posters here are racist, and if they do talk about race it's generally in a theoretical way most of us don't care what race someone is.

By the way, 4Chan died like back in 2007, it's full of little kids or new guys now.

 

Racism on 4Chan started as a joke, it still is - just not a very funny one.  I think it all started when they made Hitler jokes, racism is its own local meme on that site.

One of my favorite things about this forum is how open-minded everyone is.  I would be extremely surprised to find any racism here.

Welcome on FT. I think the people here are too intelligent to being racist. If you care about the future of our planet you will realize everyone is sitting in the same boat.

From my view only dumb people can be racist, it's the same like nationalists. Just because it happened one was born in another country or with another skin color than you doesn't make you any better. All what matters is what you actually make out of your life.
