I can't see the changes, what am I supposed to see?

When you say "this is overrated" do you mean "I think this sucks?"

When you say "the majority hate it" do you mean "I hate it?"

"Very uneasy"?

White is the preferred background for most websites these days.

And people were complaining about the black, so I changed it to white...

It looks more futuristic to me. I can't wait to see it on my Oculus Rift, once I can use the Rift for online web surfing.

The black gave it too much of a pessimistic cyberpunk feel, so I enjoy the redesign.

The new design is nice, but i have a suggestion; IMHO you should remove that "blue shadow" from the pictures in the various blocks (2000-2009, 2010-2019 etc.). It seems like it's been highlighted with a mouse (i'm not referring to the darker blue that pops up when you pass the mouse on them, i hope you understood what I wanted to say :S). That would make it more colourful and less homogeneous.

Hmm, I will think about it.

Nope, that didn't work....does it depend on location? I am in the UK

It doesn't depend on location, but on browser >.>

That shortcut was Firefox, so if you have different browser, then you must google what shortcut flushes cache. Also do it in main page.

Ok, it was just the homepage that was updated... -_-

Two things I will say, too much white and I would recommend  having it fill the entire page rather than just the centre as, on higher resolution screens, it looks too narrow.

Other than that, I like it, especially the flat design. Good work! :D

The update is excellent, Will. :D

But, just so that you're aware, there is a slight display problem for iPad users such as myself. The purple "block" that the 'follow us' icons are on blocks some of the text and images from being displayed. Other than that, faultless. :)

I don't get it. This thread was 2012, yet the new layout of FT is posted here... Whatever, love the new layout. It's pretty :).
