As for 11 the article says it is a bust, the end of the article states "Piccard and Borchberg hope to fly the aircraft around the world next year."

The new WTC will not be completed by the end of the year. WTC 2 and 3 are far from being done and both are on hold, I highly doubt two 300 meter skyscrapers can be completed in 6 months. You should clarify your statement to be "One WTC completed this year", which is true, but not the whole complex.

14nm chips will come out in the 4th quarter of this year. Pray it doesn't get pushed back again. I also wonder when Virgin Galactic is going to take off?

And Scotland voted "no"

I wonder how close the vote would have been if the British politicians hadn't made big promises to the Scottish population..

Shouldn't we start a thread for 2015 predictions by now?

Wait until January 1st and then create a dedicated thread with the following title: 2015 Predictions Status Updates or something like that

Wjfox, can we pin the thread so everyone can continually check on or update predictions for the year?

We should do this every year for as long as it takes... perhaps until the Singularity. :)
