I think anyone born in the 90s or later have a slight chance of living for hundreds of years (unless the death is not a health issue but more of something like an accident or murder). We may have found some anti-ageing technology by then.

The life expectancy raised by 5 years from 2000 to 2015. If this continued, in 2075, life expectancy would have raised by 20 years so the global average life expectancy would be 90. In Australia, America and the United Kingdom, the life expectancy now is on average about 80 so the average life expectancy for these countries would likely be about 100.

Pretty much
Now = global average of 70 years
2075 = global average of 90

Australia, America and the United Kingdom
Now = average of 80 years
2075 = average of 100 years

Isn't certain but just an educated guess 😊

The way we're currently going?

About 12.

I loudly predicted the second wave of the Global Financial Crisis would begin by the 31st of March 2017. But I was wrong! Observe my well-deserved public humiliation here, here and here. Let this be a warning to all of you who try to guess the future. Yes, that means you, reading this now! Put that prediction back in your pocket! Do it now, before it's too late! (Also check out my userpage, it's even funnier.)

Prophet Adam lived a span greater than 900 years , long lifespans spanning hundreds of years were common before flood of Noah.

Unless man recognizes his spiritual essence his lifespan will not increase. Unless man rises in Christ consciousness which is  ' Man shall live for divine kingdom not earthly kingdom '

Unless man reaches divine essence / noor / divine light  of sufi saints / wali's / auliya's / ascetics / himalayan masters , scientific invention will cause destruction.

If thine eye be single , thy whole body shall be full of light. Saint Mathew

But how to attain this single eye ,   Khidmat e khalq    , love of humanity   which will not come unless you have love of saints.

Before fana fillah you have to raise consciousness to fana fil sheikh [ love of saint ] & adopt faqiri  , denouncing all forms of lust.

When love of saint is established in heart , sleep will reduce & distracting dreams will vanish.  That love will transform to love of humanity.

This inner purification will culminate in tajjaliat / revelation of god in the form of divine light. Kindly also read about Chandian effect researched by David lane ,

Life expectancy increases by about .2 years per year and will continue to do so unless there are new and revolutionary medical treatments for cancer, dementia, heart disease and ageing in general. Acording to the UN life expectancy will flatten out at about 100 by then, but that is assuming that medical tech and sanitation only improve at the same rate they have been. So lets hope for a medical revolution.

I dont understand this printing organ stuff.  Obviously we can't print all the bacteria, etc.  Print a frame and grow tissue around that?  Or just 100% nonbiological.

If thats the case, we may not realize the overall complexity of what an organ really does and it could cause unforseen problems.  So, it may be a lot harder than we think because of the symbiotic nature of the body.

Im not sure we will be able to live super long (even with technology) if we continue to eat utter fake food and poison ourselves with endless pollution.  secondly, we completely waste and spew energy.  I believe that ejaculating thousands of times is an incredible waste of energy.  We seem to be a limited elecrochemical bio-battery.

I can feel chakras and when they light up, the energy is incredible.  Maybe other people don't have chakras but I do because they are as obvious as feelings.  If you can't feel them during sex i dont know what to say.  The life force is in the 2nd chakra (navel area).  Which is why babies are grown in the womb and they are fed thru their navel.

Without acknowledging the non physical , energetic aspects of energy and aging, you are not going to see the difficulty of extending the life span.  Sexual energy = regenerative energy = rejuvenation.

Life expectancy will probably be higher than 100 years old in the first world countries.

The mechanism of aging appears to be genetically based, not damage based.   Its not programmed but its also that evolution just stopped caring about organisms after their reproductive age.  This is good news cause all we need to do is turn on and off the same genes that are active when you are 18 and that will be the big leap we are looking for.   If a cold water shark can live for 400 years, no reason we cant either.

The main question mark is how much resources we want to put on this and how fast.  There are so many religious and downer types against science that its a real problem.  It wont stop it but it sure could slow it down a lot, like stem cells were.

If singularity comes by 2045, science will start to develop so fast that we wont be able to predict the tecnology next day. Quantum computers can be mastered within 10 years, and they might do revolution in medicine as well by simulating how molecules will work.

Singularity can kill all humans, but it can also make us live forever. The key thing is not let machines do anything without explain to humans and get permission to do it. So, machines might be much more inteligent, but the leaderships will be with humans. Like this:

Human: how can we go to mars  in a much less expensive way and survive there?

Robot: You can use a spaceship like this, by using these materials and this energy source

If the robot plan involves leting the humans frozen forever in mars, the human will reject this , and the robot will obey, because it was programed to do so. Machines wouldnt take over the world  by themselves if we do this, but bad people could still kill everyone if they had one of these robots, so the first robots have to be programed to not do anything that would kill  a human, even if the human ask for it. Robots wouldnt have emotions or feelings, so they would have no motivation to rebel against us

If a human takes 1 month to make a robot 10% smarter than him or herself, and this robot also takes a month to do another robot smarter than itself, the potential for developing new tecnologies will more than double each year . If exponential growth is fast, imagine something exponentially exponential, like instead of  multipliyng 2x2  and then 4x4, we multiplied 2x2=4, 4x4x4x4= 256, and then multiply 256x256x256x256x256x256x256x256x256x256x256x256x256.......    until we have 256 equal  numbers in that multiplication! And next month , we would start with  tecnology levels equal to the results of this multiplication  and continue the process . Scientists would be like children going to school today. Today, children learn in the school things that past scientists took mileniuns to figure out. Its much easier when someone teachs you.  Assuming that AI dont go out of control, the only thing that will slow down the tecnology will be the society itself. Even if a tecnology begins now, people will take some time to get used to it and understand how it work.

Anyone that live  5 years after singularity can live forever, because this is the time it takes to test treatments and release them. Superinteligent computers can even decrease accidents rates, by making autonomous cars/ships whatever that will never make accidents. With robots working for us, we can make every human being have everything they want( material things at least) , so people wont die from hunger and there will be no need for wars other than religion. Maybe it seens utopian, but today, we spend money to have things because there isnt everything for everyone. We spend money on food because people producing food want money, farm owners want to buy expensive things, and these things are expensive because they are rare and difficult to produce.  If everything is easy to produce, and society jumps to a type 2 civilization in a few years,  farm owners can just give away their farms to robots, and robots would give food to anyone that wanted. Even if robots can only obey to a few people, Billgates would be one of them if he lives enough to see singularity , and he alread spends money to help africa, so he would for sure give food and medicine for people if they didnt cost anything to him.

Rich people would only spend their money on historical artefacts, colections, but money wouldnt be needed for survival. The only thing left to kill people would be murderers and suicides.

Depends on how society values science over the next 82 years.

If society dumps science for god...Well, life expectancy will go down.

Before I answer this question, let

how long do you expect people to live to by 2100.

will people born in 1960 still be alive ? will i still be alive since i was born in 93.

our life lengths have always gone up but with modern science attempting new things by the next few years i suspect new ways of keeping people alive should come in.

for example.

lab grown organs will save everyone who needs a transplant and can't wait.

reverse aging should be able to keep us alive many more years and

gene therapy and nanobots would be away to fight diseases and mend the body from the inside.

people are saying it is hard to expect since normally each generation only lives a few years more than the last in the future science and technology would do so much it would be hard to know if we would be living to our 100's or for hundreds of years.

First, remember that "life expectancy" is an average that is skewed downward since it lumps in people who die as infants thanks to birth defects, people who die of murder and car accidents in their teens, and people who die in middle age thanks to self-inflicted damage owing to poor lifestyle choices like smoking and overeating with other people who are born healthy and spend their lives diligently caring for themselves.

That being said, in 2100, I think the life expectancy for people who were not born with congenital health problems and who take good care of their health (e.g. - no smoking, no obesity, see the doctor whenever feeling unwell) will be over 100 in middle-income and rich countries.

While I'm less sure that indefinite life extension will exist by 2100, I think the people alive then will probably live long enough to benefit from indefinite life extension technologies.

Yes, by 2100, I think therapeutic cloning of human organs, and stem cell therapies to restore human tissue will both be mature technologies that are in widespread use, allowing old people to effectively "turn back the clock" on their bodies, one part at a time.

It's hard to tell, the technology is improving every day to cure fatal diseases while other factors causing cancer is also on the increase. I think the life expectancy could increase but not so many years.

Depends. If life extension has not been achieved, then life expectancy could probably be very close to 100%. By that, I mean that we could have maximized chances of survival in life, minimized childhood mortality, and pushed the chance of a human living to their maximum possible lifespan— roughly 130 years, AFAIK. No disease other than decay caused by aging? No accidents? No violence? No reason why you couldn't make it to 130, but very unlikely you could go beyond that.

And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future.
