If Perry keeps up failing the debates like he did on Fox, MSNBC, CNN, and Fox again, he's gonna drop.

You think so? I think his behavior is a calculated move to make him seem more "real" - more like a guy you'd like to have a beer with, as they say. Bush, all over again, in other words.

Yeah but he's facing Obama, which means people expect similar skills back. Perry will look like an idiot debating Obama. I think Romney would do much better.

I know i'm not American but Obama vs Romney would be better debating each other.

Rick Perry's Campaign near total collapse!!!!! http://www.rawstory....total-collapse/

In the debate I swear to God that there was one question aimed at Rick Perry and the look on his face was, "Oh Shit!"

Campaign Obama and President Obama are two totally different people so I agree with this statement only based on campaign Obama.

Wow. That's just a fail. He even had to resort to the "you don't have a heart" stuff.

John Huntsman or GOP dies in 2012.

This hypocrisy is starting to become overwhelming.

The GOP is on the right side of the political spectrum. You want them to elect someone that's furthest to the left? Do you think the moderates have it all right? If the Democrats elected Bernie Sanders or Dennis Kucinich would say their party will die? Would it be preferable if they elected a Blue Dog instead?

Your political opinion isn't right. Mine isn't right. That's why they're opinions. This "the left is absolutely moral and economically correct" or "the right is absolutely moral and economically correct" is EXACTLY what's crippling political discourse in America. Enough with these false dichotomies. Maybe it's duopolistic party system. Maybe we need a parliamentary system to achieve political cooperation.

No Apparently we need the Venus Project, which is even more impossible.

The reason I like Huntsman is because he is Logical and I think Perry the ex-democrat could be more left than he is. Perry hesitated in a lot of his questions and he didn't seem to know what he was talking about. I think Huntsman is a better choice than Palin or Bachmann. I'd vote for Obama over palin. But ill never vote for obama so I'll never vote for palin.

Fortunately (for us all), it looks like you won't have to make that choice. Palin isn't running.

Ron Paul is the only GOP presidential candidate who commends Occupy Wall Street.

The other candidates are silent on the issue or have explicitly condemned it as "class warfare" (Romney and Cain).

Just sayin'...

Of course Romney and Cain are condemning the 99% movement as class warfare, because it makes perfect political sense: divide the country, and feed off of people's anger to turn against themselves and elected officials. This is why Cain was saying that people of the movement should be angry at the President and the Democrats in Washington rather than at Wall Street. Cain also said that people should stop complaining (per say), get a job, and that they themselves only have to blame. Fear and anger are the best emotions to use in politics because they're extremely effective, but it's also a strategy that's dangerous and destructive to society. This strategy isn't new. It's been used since the dawn of time. Divide and conquer.

Well he's partly right. Most of the people at OWS are out of work. That's not saying all of them are.

And your complaining about class warfare now? Obama's not doing the same thing??? When the Vice President of the United States calls a group of people expressing their voices terrorists and that Obama complains all the time about arguing with the republicans because he doesn't have the ability to stand up against them and use his power as President to either silence them or over ride whatever they say. Threatening to take away military paychecks and social security... I am ashamed at our President and his polices.

Wall Street has gotten too big yes! That is a fact. No one can deny it. I think they just spent $300 million on a new fast telecommunications intranet system to allow the traders to trade MILLISECONDS faster. Which is ridiculous, although the technology behind it was cool. As we were pointing out before they need a vision, they need to write down what they want. And perhaps they should align themselves with some type of political party most likely the democrats. Otherwise they would just be an angry mob proving Herman Cain right. Because with no plan the movement is bound to fall apart just like the hippies.

Personally, I do not think that Obama will be re-elected, and I pray to God that the next president we have is someone of calibre who deeply cares for our country, and helps her reach her potential.

Who we need for president, in my opinion, (and my sentiments have been heightened after witnessing the debacle that was the debate on the debt ceiling) is someone not concerned with a party, but someone who is concerned for the country. We need nothing more than someone who honestly cares for this country, and has the know-how and drive to see to it that the United States of America begins to fix herself, rather than continue this self-mutilation. The best way that I can see this country turning around would be through the dissolving of the political parties, and, rather, allowing people to represent the country, rather than a group with a collective interest. I agree most with George Washington when he said that, "We must drive far away the daemon party spirit and local reproach". For too long have the petty differences and beliefs of the few infected the decisions that affect this country.

We have, essentially, become a country represented by children, rather than adults.

The solution would be to add a constitutional amendment that would make it illegal for any political position serving public office to receive money from anyone, any business, individual, or PAC whatsoever. Not even 1 dollar. Eradicate all money from politics and public office. Elections would be funded by tax payer money only, and they're allowed a certain amount and that's it.

I would wholeheartedly agree with this except I believe in grassroots donations.
