    I don't understand how intelligent people can read and believe the works of Henry David Thoreau and also be anthroposophical wackos. Why does this place exist, it is a philosophical contradiction manifesting in physical space. This would be like if 19th century Christians also unironically loved Darwin's work and defended evolution while maintaining their creationist dogma. http://www.thoreaucollege.org/

    I'm ambivalent to the views on Saudi Arabia. The criticisms placed on them place responsibility onto the society as a whole, and not the literal fundamentalist despotic regime in place.
