Re: New predictions for the timeline

This may or may not be worthy of an entry, but it should be noted that the frequency of asteroid impacts similar in size to the Chelyabinsk meteor is about once every 80 years, meaning that it is possible another town or city will see a destructive fireball event by 2090 or 2100.

Re: The tech that is currently advancing at this moment

In my state (Florida), FPL seems to be advertising the use of solar panels more than ever. Also, Florida's intercity rail system, Brightline, is apparently the first passenger rail service in the world to use Starlink as its onboard wi-fi provider.

Re: OpenAI Sora actually is dangerous

Can I please just log out from all of this weirdness and nonsense? ...At this point, you probably should. I've been pondering about this myself for the better part of a year. In the early days of YouTube and Twitter, you could very easily report bullying, trolling and false information (i.e. "this comment has been flagged as spam"). Ten-something years later, there's almost no moderation on th...

The comments under this post are beyond childish. Do people seriously think ChatGPT is going to wipe out the human race in 5 years?? This is like saying RC cars will start running people over.

This genuinely feels like something from a horror B movie.
