Personally I'm doubtful that Russia is even capable of democracy. Some societies and cultures have authoritarianism entrenched into their very being.

Realistically, I think particle-energy weapons will become ubiquotous until at least the 2040's. I'm basing my guess off of how nuclear bombs were invented in the 1940's.

People need to realize that the whole situation with Israel and Palestine is a complex and multifacited issue that won't be solved by pointing fingers. Could one feasible resolution be to turn Jerusalem into an independant city-state like Vatican City?
