Re: Ask a Blue Origin engineer almost anything

What's your opinion of Russia's current level of space technology? I don't see them making any sizable advances in terms of technology any time soon. Their existing technology remains very capable but I expect China will be taking their place as the next significant player in Space research and dev...

I've had a passion for space exploration for over a decade now thanks to this site and love working in the field. I know Blue Origin gets a bad rep sometimes and I realize we are waaaay behin...

According to NASA (https://pds.nasa.gov/ds-view/pds/viewMissionProfile.jsp?MISSION_NAME=JUNO), we'll have two close flybys of Io in December 2023 and February 2024 from Juno during its extended mission. Both from less than 1500km from the surface. Satellite PJ CA Time(UTC) Altitude(km) Europa 37 : 2...

Re: AI & Robotics News and Discussions

The RLHF methodology of OpenAI doesn't seem like a very elegant path to AGI. Somewhat akin to how fusion power will ultimately come from making steam to spin a turbine lol. Either way I'm excited and more than a little scared about the future of AI and how fast its seeming to come upon us. I have a ...

Accepted an offer at Blue Origin. Ultimately I can thank this site for putting me on this life path.

I discovered this website about 10 years ago in 2011 or 2012 while early in high school and it ignited a passion within me for the sciences, especially space exploration. Now, 10 years later, I'll be working a job that I'm actually passionate about. I move to Seattle next month to start and I just w...
