"Doop de dooooo...let's see what Tankie Twitter is up to today...": https://mobile.twitter.com/Noahpinion/status/1196579359995285504 Also: "Ted Postol gives a bizarre interview with Aaron Mate, where he makes up a story about Bellingcat and myself claiming his study that was pulled from @SGSJournal was funded by Russia and China. We've never said that, he's just making it up." https://mobile.twitter.com/EliotHiggins/status/1196695791957614592

Meanwhile, I do believe there is a "soft coup" in Bolivia. Bernie Sanders says so, and that's good enough for me. But, I have discovered there is a lot of subtlety to consider. (I didn't buy "Tankie Twitter's" diagnosis that there was a coup, because I don't trust them. Bernie is more credible, however.)

idk how a coup can be soft. A coup is a coup

Meanwhile China isn't really communist, it's state capitalist, so I'm not sure why these tankies are so eager to defend it from the protests

Some MLs I think desperately just want a state power they can back that opposes the U.S no matter how far from socialism it really is. It's depressing living in peak capitalism and I relate although do not reach the same conclusions. There's also some of this "well the fascists like the HK protesters so maybe that means I shouldn't" thing going on.
