One of the travails of living in a hot climate people in cooler parts of the world don't have to deal with: if you don't crack your windows just a little, your windshield will form a heat crack, and you'll have to get it replaced. Happened to me just recently; also happened with the previous car I had, one summer.     Yes, I'm sure a lot of people feel similarly. Perhaps you don't own a car. If you did, you probably would pay more attention to the heat, know what it will do to the windshield.

    In warmer climates, you also have to be especially careful to not leave your children in the car. The heat is lethal, and your car becomes an oven in the summertime.

    children in the oven is ghastly , but as more areas around the world warm , awarness of that will have to increace (or solution mandated to car manufacturers)
