it wasn't a disagree kind of thing. I was unable to get google to return a usable search result for names for a specific type of puzzle. asking in a community talking about all kinds of puzzles besides what I was talking about. No attempts to clarify seems to have convinced them that they were not right in asserting their unrelated puzzle were the answer to my trying to find a name for a different kind of puzzle.

damn, this is looking like a year that's gonna take a notch out of our long time youtuber heroes. The King of Random, and Rob from Threadbangers just barely survived his brush with the reaper. I wondering if this is the start of a rough years end.

Screw Airbnb for more reasons than one. Couchsurf/motels/camping are king. Being involved in radical leftist politics will generally give you a couch almost anywhere too.

tried couchsurfing.com , literally everyon in the LA area seems to be traveling themselves. It was a complete no go. and motels in LA area... 100-300 a night. that's morethan the cost of the flight and convention together for the whole trip.

Honorable cause, questionable feasibility. It's something you hope for will happen, although the cynic in me is rolling his eyes and whispering to the person beside him, "Another rich man here to 'save' us."

I think we should be mobilizing end mass with technology we have today to save the world now instead of hoping that fantastical ideas are feasable and will work. They might work, but we can't bet our lives on a might. Also screw status and celebrity virtue signalling. If he cared he'd strip him self of almost all wealth, disavow his peers and advocate real substantive change instead of this posturing he's doing.

He is joined by DiCaprio, Ruffalo, and Matt Damon. I don't see any specifics yet. It's a good gesture, but what makes them think they will succeed where other efforts have failed (or not yet succeeded)?

I keep seeing people I know advocating revolution, lol. Yeah it's probably going to need to happen, but none of these people have the grit to well and truly do it. None of these big talkers could bring themselves to violently overthrow a pack of housecats.

The reproductive rights comment was demonstrating a slippery slope, not meant to be literal I think.

People are innocent until proven guilty and surveilling innocent people is a civil rights violation. In this case clearly criminalizing disability and poverty.

Government surveillance of this mass sort in general is draconian, wrong and something that conservatives like yourself would be outraged over in the pre 9/11 era.

Sure, they have an inverted pyramid age distribution problem, but that doesn't explain everything. The U.S. is ahead in many different ways, and weaker in others. For example, in science and technology, Japan can't really compete.

Then there is all the blather about how taxes and regulations are slowing things down. But the same arguments against tech unemployment (libertarians disbelieve in tech unemployment) should apply here: like water flowing around a rock in a river, the economy will work around the "problem", shifting value elsewhere, creating other growth opportunities. Perhaps sci-tech progress is happening as fast as possible, given acceptable levels of risk, contra Thiel

782K to treat 42 people for labour that is probably worth less than 10K total. Despicable. Healthcare and prison officials should be stripped of all power and position.

I went with the refurbished, because in the end they had a 90 day warranty and bought an extra 2 year warranty on top for about $40. I couldn't find a warranty on any of the others, and generally those would be just a year anyway. That and aspire are usually considered study in the long term. It's a ram upgrade above what I've been using. it just lacks the optical drive. I'll manage.
