I wonder how we'll view futurism post-COVID. Which sci-tech advancements and trends did the pandemic delay and which ones did it accelerate?

    I think a lot medical research has probably been delayed as resources were transferred to fighting COVID-19. In terms of space research, the shutdowns affected NASA back in the spring, so there will be delays there as well. In terms of trend, Caltrek named all the ones I can think of.

    I think AGI research will have only been slightly effected due to so many remote possibilities for research.
    I think I will care about AGI more and more still as beneficial AGI hypothetically solves everything and we are getting close to rays prediction date wise. Although Ray is probably wrong I will hold some hope for his prediction
