Welcome to the new forum!

Sticking this topic in the top forum for now, just so it's easy for everyone to see and find. Please leave general feedback here if you find anything you think might need fixing, or have any issues and questions about the software and site. I'll update below with notes as and when they need to be added;

*Avatars are currently disabled, I'm sorting some bits and pieces around this, you won't really notice it now but a user's avatar is used as the topic icon in forumview, this will be more obvious where there are lots of threads. I'll enable avatars soon.

^You can now upload your own avatar, and I'll be creating a selection for the gallery because the default ones are all a bit rubbish.

This one time, at band camp, I bumped the thread as well. It's looking lovely so far, Jon. Very nice template, and IPB has certainly come a long way.

Not to my knowledge, ExplorerAtHeart. I'm an old friend of Caiman's, but have no ties to the old incarnation of FutureTimeline. That said, I have no special status at the forum that I'm aware of, therefore technically I might be a 'civilian'?

You can upload an avatar now. The default avatars didn't really work with this custom style so I've disabled them but I will create and upload a bunch of new gallery avatars to choose from later when I get home from work.

I've started uploading some new avatars to the library to replace the bog standard invision avatars, you can find them at http://www.futuretim...ers&area=avatar in the 'Pre-Installed Avatars' drop down.

Wow, the new forum is fantastic! Significant improvement on the previous one and the best bit is it's not on the free servers anymore, so no more frequent downtime! Woo! :) Thanks Will and Jon!
