It's that time again, a day late because I was too hung over yesterday. Yes I am just that cool. Anyway, September saw a real boost in traffic, registrations and posting over the previous month, doubling for the most part, and we've had some really great and heated debates, though it's certainly feeling a little feisty around here lately! Check some of them out further down the page...

In September...

42 new users have registered

250 topics have been created

2,669 new posts have been made

We also set a couple of new 'forum records' which saw 43 registered users checking in on a single day as well as there being 131 visitors browsing the forums at once at one point. If you're one of those lurkers, please sign up and join in!

The forum has exploded lately, but traffic for the main site has remained fairly static. We'll hopefully be doing a major upgrade in the coming weeks, however, giving a more professional and interactive feel, so this should help. I'm also tweeking a few things in Google AdSense to boost revenue.

Has traffic for the forum exceeded that of the main site? If so, well then wow..

No not at all. I think Will is just pointing out that whilst we've seen a significant increase to the forum, in proportion there's not been a relative increase in traffic through the main site.

The main site had 370,690 page views last month. That's nearly 12,000 per day. :) The forum doesn't get anywhere near that much.

Invision. I have been impressed too. Before this site, I've run a couple of other forums using vBulletin software, which is great and all but has kind of been left behind in the last year or two.
