I don't think that this has been posted here before, so here goes:

With the influx of immigrants in the West, there's no doubt it'll soon find a mean somewhere southwest of the central plains.

And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future.

Any stats on how the world's center of population has changed over time? According to Wikipedia, it's currently in Kashmir.

That makes sense. If it wasn't for Africa, it'd definitely be closer to the Indian/Chinese border.

I am unsure about the world, but here are maps which show how Australia's (between 1911 and 1996) and New Zealand's (between 1921 and 2008) center of population have changed over time:

I'll see if I can find this data for any other countries, especially in English and in images which can be directly posted on(to) this forum. Stay tuned. :)

This appears to be such a map for Japan's historical center of population, but since this map is in Japanese and I cannot read Japanese, I cannot be completely sure of this:

Meanwhile, this appears to be a similar historical map to the one above but with a much longer time frame; however, again, since I myself cannot read Japanese, I cannot be sure of this:

Awesome! Maybe I can make a map out of some of these.

Do you have computer software which will help you in regards to this?

Also, I would like to point out that I think that it would be a good idea to make a separate map for every U.S. state which you are willing to do this for rather than to have all of this be on one map.

Also, Jakob, I noticed that you didn't like my last two posts here in which I posted maps. Is there a reason for this, or did you simply forget to like these two posts of mine?

Whenever I try to post the map, it refuses to save the post.

Exactly which map are you talking about here? Also, how and where exactly did you save this map?

One for Rhode Island. It's a png on my desktop. I tried to use the clipboard to post it here.

Try converting it to, say, JPG and then try doing this again.

Try saving it on your Wikimedia Commons account first before posting it here.

It's based on Google Maps, so I can't, per policy.
