Just narrowly avoided a shady business deal.

Time Traveller (right) and me (left), on the surface of a high metallic world, yesterday evening.

We're about 500 light years into our 7,000 light year trip to the Bubble Nebula.

I ran the numbers on these two, and the Roche limit for both moons is 200km. They appear to be roughly 900km-1,000km apart, so they would have to be nearly five times closer to one another to start pulling one another apart.

Interestingly, both the models of both moons are distended, with the semi-major axis of their diameters aligned with one another.

AB 1A:

959 km
0.0013 Earth masses
0.06g
82.5% ice
15.9% rock
1.6% metal
0.9d rotational period (tidally locked)

AB 1B:

838 km
0.0009 Earth masses
0.05g
82.5% ice
15.9% rock
1.6% metal
0.7d rotational period (tidally locked)

o7 to the CMDR who took that screenshot. They have made the Empire very proud.
