Speaking of nostalgia, I started out gaming on PC, unlike almost any of my firends, who generally all got involved when the PS/N64 showed, So who played any of these Gems?

I used this as late as 2008. In fact, I still have an AOL email address for some account on another website I almost never use anymore. I think I used it once in 2013? And that was it.

I remember when the republican party believed in educating all of our children, investing in science and infrastructure.

What happened? It became a archo-capitalist party. Upon that I turned into a democrat.

All the adults from the 1970s Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory film are dead except for Charlie's mom and a few of the Oompa-Loompas. Mike Teevee is the youngest of the cast at age 58.

The release of Nevermind is closer to the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band than the present day.

Before we had camera phones, there were these!
7tXtZrp.jpg
I remember when I was about 9 or 10, I wanted a video camera soooo badly. I thought they were the coolest things and could only fathom how awesome it would be if I could genuinely capture life in motion. Alas, video cameras cost a decent penny. Nothing bank busting, not even akin to a video game console. But that goes both ways in that it's too expensive to trust with a 10 year old but not expensive enough for a 10 year old to know to be careful with.

So I had to get one of these instead. I still remember that yellow, black, and red Kodak camera. At the time, I didn't care that much because I still had a camera. But because it used genuine film and wasn't a digital camera, I needed to get the pictures I took developed at Wal-Greens.

Never did. I don't even know what happened to that camera. It probably got thrown away 9 years ago.

I did eventually get a video camera a few years later, and I loved it. But since it used cassettes, I stopped messing with it. And now I have a video camera always with by my side in the form of three smartphones, and I never use it.

Oh fuck, I remember these.
qxqkfcijxz9z.jpg

I got these back around March or April 2003. I remember that clearly because the Iraq War was going on at around the same time. Put 'em all in a bathroom closet and hid myself in there to pretend I was in space. And one night, a jet flew directly overhead and I thought it was a UFO because it was so fucking loud and I hid in that closet, with all those faded neon-glowing stars in there...
And I was small, too, so I could hide in the clothes hamper. Like that would help.
