Interesting... I posted the exact same video on this forum a while ago. 

Admittedly, I called the thread how power works.

 

I would suspect that an ASI would follow these rules as well - just exceptionally subtle and advanced, in a fashion such that everyone stays loyal at a minimal reward, and constantly believes that they are taking actions out of their own free will. 
Additionally, an ASI can eliminate many Keys by being everywhere, being the expert on all subjects and actually being able to run the drones to police and build all on its own.

What is stopping from people over throwing the AI?

Anyways, I found this video horrible. It straight up tells people to be corrupt if they want to stay in power.

It's sheer intellectual superiority. You don't want to overthrow it. This might be because of clever social engineering and playing the games of power perfectly, or something I can't yet imagine. If the ASI is good, it will feel like your free will to you anyways.
