Negative.  Thump immediately reacted to the news by saying that "Santa Claus is obviously a Communist. Look at how he is always wearing red."

Ah, that clip was fake news created by the Wicked Witch of the West to confuse people. Might I also point out that red is the color of Thump's party.

What about the comment by Santa Claus that he was "sick and tired of Thump's stingy policies"?

While the Trump administration cannot be done justice because the absurdity involved is far in excess of what a satirist can come up with, there are still others that are within range. Case in point:

‘El Bloombito’ Bloomberg’s First Interview as Candidate for President

https://www.latinore...mbitointerview/

Extract:

Andrew Padilla: First, THANK YOU, El Bloombito, for agreeing to sit down for this interview. I’m sure a lot of folks have been trying to get you on the record since you filed to run.

El Bloombito: Sí. Yo soy en mucho demando.

AP: I’ll start with the question that’s on everyone’s mind. In March, you said you were “clear-eyed about the difficulty” of winning the Democratic nomination. What changed?

EB: Es will be muy dificil pero yo tengo el hearto, el experienco, y mucho mas dinero than yo soy could puedo every spendo. Also afraido of feelingo el berno. El wealtho taxo will prevento mi Americoño dream. Un casa en each state.

...No tengo trouble connectingo. Los 99 percentadors y yo tenemos mucho in common. Todos los everyone enjoys beachcasas, y vacaciones.

It’s Time for Santa’s Elves to Unionize

https://www.motherjo...es-to-unionize/

Introduction:

(Mother Jones) It’s the most wonderful time of year: catchy songs, warm drinks, family time, and of course, presents. Every Christmas, kids all over the world hope they make the cut on Santa’s Nice List in order to receive presents under the tree, lovingly delivered by Santa himself with the help of eight reindeer. But while Santa gets all the credit, it’s actually the elves who are toiling in a factory at the North Pole making all the toys—for free. After centuries of unpaid labor, it’s time: Santa’s elves need a union.

Each year, 2 billion people celebrate Christmas. For argument’s sake, let’s say 500 million of those people are children, and they each receive two toys. The elves would have to make approximately 2.74 million toys every single day, assuming they take Christmas Day off. That’s more than 114,000 toys per hour, provided they don’t eat or sleep at all. At that rate of production, the elves will have to begin work again on December 26; otherwise, they won’t have enough time to make all of the gifts for the next year.

Santa’s workshop? More like Santa’s sweatshop.

And let’s not even start with Elf on the Shelf, the elves who have been dispatched to keep an eye on children to make sure they don’t misbehave. Isn’t Santa supposed to be monitoring behavior? Why has he outsourced this to the criminally overworked elves?

Although Santa, like any good factory owner, is pretty secretive about daily life at the North Pole, the data is clear: This is slave labor.

The Wurf administration today announced the formation of a new cabinet level department. A spokesperson for the new department explained its purpose and function as follows:

The idea came about in response to the numerous ongoing protests against the current government.  We noticed a certain lack of coordination and organisation amongst the various anti-government factions.  Disputes were arising over who should be marching in a given street at a given time of the day.  Events that many wanted to attend were being scheduled in a manner that forced people to select one protest event over the other.  Yet a common motivation was to promote the overthrow of the current government due to the deep seated corruption currently present.

Therefore, the new  government department will be dedicated to organizing the overthrow of the current government.  The idea originated in the Institute of Applied Oxymoronic Theory.

The agency will include a position for a person who will be responsible for the acceptance of bribes to affect department policy.  We understand that many will want to guide such policy through the use of bribes, so this individual will make sure that such activity is carried out in an organized fashion.  Many may object to the idea of accepting bribes in an agency dedicated to responding to corruption in government.  Yet, such criticisms ignore the obvious idea that the best way to combat corruption is through the use of corruption.

Discussion is still occuring as to what to name the new agency.

February: News reaches the Land of the Wurfs that we are all going to die.

In response, President Thump insisted there was no basis to this fear.  "Look where all this news about where the coronavirus originated: China.  The same country that brought us all of that fake news about global warming. Obviously, Democratic Party operatives have infiltrated the Chinese government in order to spread false and partisan propaganda aimed at defeating me in the next election.  As we know, it is always about me."

In his infinite wisdom, God-Emperor Trhump has devised a beautiful coronavirus vaccine, believe me, I've seen it and it's the best vaccine.

What does it taste like?

Jakob: Oranges.
