If you add up Labour, Lib Dem, SNP and Green (or as i like to think of them "the Alliance" ) you get 50.42%
If you add up Tories and Ukip (or as i like to think of them, "The forces of Evil" ) you get 49.40%
So we'd be just about ok, if we had proportional representation.
In all seriousness though, labour tends to score a bit worse than they Poll i think, and the system mostly exaggerates leads so this election it will favour the Tories as the largest party.
Although with the way the SNP usually gets way more seats than they would under a fair system, then as long as labour don't completely collapse (and it doesn't look like that is happening, although it depends on where the voters are) then we could see Labour offer a 2nd referendum on Brexit, a 2nd referendum on Scotland and leading a 3 party coalition.
I'm going to hope they do this and its still really close, so they offer a referendum on proportional representation, to lure in the greens and secure the lib dems.
I'm going to hope for that, impossible though it is.
