We already have a TED Talk topic.

I prefer to make threads on individual talks instead of just dumping them in a generic thread where no one will look at them.

We already have a TED Talk topic.

I prefer to make threads on individual talks instead of just dumping them in a generic thread where no one will look at them.

Thing is five years down the line, it will still be a part of that actively updated general thread where interested eyes will be able to find it, whereas the individual thread will be all but forgotten on page 50 unless someone browses the older parts of the forum. You'd be surprised how much more often I, for one, go through older pages of large topics instead of older pages of subforums.
