I have extremely limited experience with php, but I might be able to fix it. We're talking about literally a single letter here – the "s" in https. So I'm going to download the entire forum to my hard drive, then search for the YouTube code in the php file(s), using Dreamweaver. Then maybe it's just a simple case of replacing the http with https.

 

If that doesn't work, I'll contact Jon (Caiman) and see if there's anything he can do.

 

Failing that, we'll be stuck with it I'm afraid, and will have to use the shorter (non-embedded) YouTube codes, as seen in post #2 of this thread. But having SSL is way more important and improves our search ranking.

Windows 7 installed on a old -six/seven years- HP laptop previously with Vista, using Opera.

 

Result: It doesn't works.

This is weird. The video embeds are now working in some threads, but only in Firefox.

Recently the website experience has been a bit buggy for me on Chrome. On both mobile and desktop versions i've been having some trouble posting status updates, viewing comments, going to the "full version" thing on mobile, etc.


The growth of computation is doubly exponential growth.
