I feel like the amount of updates in that thread is getting too much. Threads and posts are being bumped out of the front page after only 2 days, like Caltrek's posts right now, which would usually give it less attention and views.

You mean splitting it between purely social and political current events and current sci-tech news? That could be an idea for the new forum.

And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future.

‚ÄčIf you took all the pinned threads or basically just all the ones tilted like: "<Subject> News and Discussions" except for Business and politics, and maybe Society and demographics and put them into a separate "Science and Technology news" forum.

Then put most of the rest of the posts into a "Business, Politics and Current Events" forum that might split things in a better way, also some forum members avoid political discussions, but as a result you rarely see them post in any of the threads on the News and current events forum.
