Metamaterials will be materials with properties that dont exist in nature like negative refractive index. Will metamaterials look weird and surreal to the eye?How would an aquarium which the water and glass have negative refraction look like? Or a mirror made of metamaterials?What would happen if you look at this mirror Or a glass building which the glasses windows are made of metamaterials?

I believe that metamaterials could make 3d imagens and holograms more realistic and lifelike for exemple.Or led and Oled lamps that would be many times brighter. Fully soundproof materials and walls could be another possibility. There could be several kinds of metamaterials like:

-Optical metamaterials;

-Electromagnetic metamaterials;

- Plasmonic metamaterials;

-Quantum metamaterials;

-Mechanical metamaterials;

- Acoustic metamaterials;

Each kind of metamaterials would have its own properties and applications.

I think that while most of the uses will be for engineering and science there is also a lot of potential for the beauty sector. I think there will be nanotechnological metamaterials that you put on your face and they immediately make you very attractive. I also think you will be able to put metamaterials on any hairless part of your body and it will immediately grow hair. Many people will use this on their head but others will want a hairy neck or hairy knuckles. Lastly there will be a big market for metamaterials that turn you into your favourite food, for me that will be radishes since I have radishes in every meal. You will fill a bath with metamaterials and then when you sit in it you will become radishes. That’s what I think.

Only take advice from people who have what you want.
You don't decide your future. You decide your habits, and your habits decide your future.

This seems very likely.
