New quantum sensor technology really is a game-changer. Ultra-precise gravimeters, alone, will be a game-changer. One of my favorite new sensors -- that I think has great potential going forward -- is optically-pumped magnetometers. These have the potential to make MEG scanners that you can wear like a hat, and that operate without super-cooled, superconductors.
